Local people should have a meaningful role in deciding what culture looks like where they live.

There is already creativity throughout Gosport. We’re here to support, connect and grow it, making creative activity more visible, accessible and relevant to the people who live here.

Creative experiences and careers can feel like something you need to leave the area to access. Gosport Routes is about opening up possibilities close to home, shaped by the borough’s own people, places and ideas.

We want younger residents to shape decisions, try creative experiences, develop skills and explore creative careers. We’ll work with schools, colleges and youth organisations to help make that possible.

Gosport Routes is part of Creative People and Places, a national programme supporting places where participation in arts and culture has historically been lower. Each programme is developed locally, with its communities.
